I Saved Latin

Through the Lovely Soiree we have be awarded the opportunity to meet such an array of fascinating and  motivated people who we are lucky enough to now call friends.
One of those fine folks is Joe Spadaro, the founder of American Laundromat Records.
Last year ALR put out the amazing I Saved Latin: A Tribute to Wes Anderson album featuring Matt Pond, Telekinesis, Juliana Hatfield and many more performing amazing renditions of songs heard in Anderson's films.
The album was accompanied by a wide assortments of pre-order goodies that were only outshined by the beauty and respect of the music on I Saved Latin.
If you attended last summer's Lovely Soiree you may have been fortunate enough to have picked up some of the items that had previously only been available online.

This past fall we were more than excited to learn about the release of the I Saved Latin LP which features additional tracks of pure awesomeness.

(All these beautiful portraits were executed by our very own Chris Durbin)

So on this Record Store Day we recommend full-heratledly that you should pick up a copy of this amazing album and lit it be at the top of your record collection as we have!

Thus the reason we've never promoted our buddy Neal's Uwe Boll tribute album.
